What doesn't fit on the menu

Obsessions, trips and a few quick answers — everything that doesn't fit on a price list, but genuinely matters to us.

Our obsession

Why we're in love with Italy

It's not just a phrase — last year alone we went to Rome four times. The city completely stole our hearts: the streets, the evening light, the way everyone seems to have time for a coffee.

But we don't only go to Rome. We've also been to Naples, where we “borrowed” a recipe straight from the source — our Provola e Pepe pizza has its roots there, in an internationally award-winning recipe by Vincenzo Capuano. And we've traveled to other parts of Italy too, because as in love as we are with Rome, we never stop at just one city.

From Trastevere, to Saporia

Sweet Cherry Blossom

This cocktail has a short but clear story: we tasted it at a bar in Trastevere, Rome, and said right there — we have to have this at Saporia. It's a mix of blackberry liqueur, raspberry liqueur and prosecco, sweet and easy to drink, just like they served it to us there. We brought it home, and now it's on the menu at Saporia.
